PNG is exported in sRGB. A transparent canvas preserves existing alpha; it does not remove an opaque image background.
Inspect the pixels you will actually export
Keep the full image or crop it to fill the output. The checkerboard shows transparency. A transparent canvas preserves existing alpha and empty margins; it does not remove an opaque photograph’s background.

Questions before you start
Which files can I open?
PNG, JPEG, WebP and self-contained SVG are supported. The workspace limits inputs to 10 MB and 16 million pixels.
Does converting JPEG to PNG remove the background?
No. The photograph remains opaque. PNG preserves transparency when the source already has it, or where the canvas has empty space.
Is my image uploaded?
No. Reading, previewing and exporting in this workspace happen locally in your browser.
